2. Safe Signature #2 – Ask and write down the answers
A verbal promise is not proof – ask that the promised discounts, terms, or amendments be written in the agreement or an appendix. If the document is in Spanish and you are not 100% sure, ask for a translated summary or an explanation from an independent lawyer. Better an extra 30 minutes now than months of dispute resolution later.

3. Secure signature #3 – Terms and withdrawal options
Check the terms of the contract: is there a withdrawal period, what are the payment schedules and what happens in case of delay. Look at the penalty interest and whether it is reasonable – compare it with market practice.
